Thanks! I love pinhead too so I plan on making a bust of him at some point. The key is to nail Doug Bradley's likeness and expression long before even thinking about pinhead. There are so many masks and figures Thai believe look nothing like him so I really plan on taking my time.
Thank you very much! I'm very happy he's finished. I've only made one so far and he's kickin' it on a bookshelf staring... well, smiling at me. I think he's pretty happy I finished him up too! A friend of mine coached me with the paint so I can't take total credit for it. I'm in awe of the paint job, I don't think the pictures do it total justice. The wire is just a wire for making bead jewelry. I got it in the craft section in Walmart.

I agree about the paint job. The color detail for the layers of skin look very well done. You can see that under the top layer of skin, is sort of a green, rotten color; which gives it a LOT of character. Did he show you more techniques with "washing" inks? Or dry brushing at all? I find there's a lot on this one, but I don't have a clue as to what you already knew.
